Medela prides itself on being the "#1 choice of hospitals and mothers" and their Bamboo Nursing Camisole gives power to that statement. In this day and age of companies going "green", this camisole is made up of 67 percent bamboo fiber (it's also 28 percent cotton and 5 percent spandex), which is very eco-friendly. It is extremely soft and comfortable and breathes really well, which is crucial for nursing moms who have hormonal fluctuations and leaky breasts! Also, because it is made from bamboo fiber, it is naturally anti-bacterial, so the camisole remains very sanitary and germ-free.
Medela is also very realistic about the varying sizes of breastfeeding women. Many other companies have tanks or camisoles that will fit only small-breasted women. This cami comes in sizes ranging from small to extra-large, with each fitting exactly as it should...no breasts hanging out the sides or the top, which is a blessing when you're breastfeeding.
It would be nice to see this camisole come in a variety of colors, other than just black and white, but as more women catch on to this item, perhaps more will become available.
