No Worries--Your Breasts WON'T Sag From Breastfeeding

Saturday November 17, 2007

There's fantastic news from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons 2007 conference--Breastfeeding will not cause your breasts to sag! In fact, there were four other factors linked...older age, cigarette smoking, larger pre-pregnancy bra size, and a greater number of pregnancies. The researchers found that age and cigarette smoking were the two most pronounced culprits.

There's an old term for sagging breasts, used mainly amongst breast professionals..."Cooper's Droopers." The Cooper's Ligament is connective tissue in the breast that maintains the structure. Over the years, these ligaments lose strength, causing the breast to sag. The research reported by the ASPS corroborates this information. Many women believe that their breasts sag because their baby pulled them out of shape. Now we have every right to blame genetics.

I am college grad and a mother of three that is wanting to sell some of my milk. I have 400+ ounces right now in the deep freezer and I don’t want it to go to waste. I live in Iowa and know how to ship milk, as I’ve done this with my second child. I take a prenatal vitamin as well as a DHA supplement. I eat a good diet, exercise regularly and am smoke/alcohol/drug/disease free. please let me know if you are interested.
