H.R. 2236: Breastfeeding Promotion Act of 2007
Many people ask me about the most current status of the House Resolutions on breastfeeding. Here is the most up-to-date information. H.R. 2236 was designed to "amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to protect breastfeeding by new mothers; to provide for a performance standard for breast pumps; and to provide tax incentives to encourage breastfeeding." As of now, the bill merely has been introduced. Let's hope it makes it out of committee.
